EVA impact foam maximizes protection while Comfort Foam maximizes fit. An extended cut in the front and back protects your sternum, ribs and back, for a complete and perfectly integrated protection system. These youth shoulder pads are also equipped with the EPA registered AEGIS anti-microbial technology. AEGIS uses negatively charged anti-microbial particles to help shield you from bacteria, fungus, germs and mold. Schutt has equipped this shoulder pad with elastic bands allowing for more flexibility and an easier & more secure fit on a wider variety of youth players. The AiR Flex Design on this Y Flex shoulder pad provides you with great ventilation, 5mm vent holes, light and durable Aero-Dry spacer fabric, raised corrugations, and a ventilated arch and sub-arch for great heat & moisture transfer with maximum air flow.
